Aisha Jamila is an American actor who is most well known for her roles in TV series The Shield and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003 she has proved her versatility in the role of actress with stunning performances on television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. Her performance on Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first one to attract her attention. The performance she made in the biographical movie All the Way as the women's right activists Fannie Lou Hammer brought her to the attention of the public. Hind was also recognized for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman in WGN America's period television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television have renewed the show's third season. Hind has recently finished filming for the Hollywood feature Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film will be released mid-2019. Her father Krishnaraj died in the month of March following a lengthy career as a scientist for the Indian Army. Vrinda, her mother is a domestic worker. Her older brother is Aditya Rai who is a merchant navy engineer. His brother wrote and produced the script for Dil Ka Rishta with their mother. Arya Vidya Mandir was the school that Bachchan went to after her family moved to Mumbai. Her intermediate studies were completed at Jai Hind College for a year prior to enrolling in D.G.
