Mary McDonnell
Mary Eileen McDonnell (born April 28, 1952) is an American film, stage, and television actress. Her roles in Dances with Wolves, Stands With A Fist and Passion Fish brought her Academy Award nominations. McDonnell is most famous for her roles as First Lady Marilyn Whitmore in Independence Day and President Laura Roslin on Battlestar Galactica. In the seasons of 5-7 McDonnell was a part of the cast as Captain Sharon Raydor and in Major Crimes spin-offs on TNT.
